I am originally from the UK but made the move across the pond to the west coast of Canada a few years ago where I now drink coffee instead of tea, hike in the endless mountains and add 'eh' onto too many of my sentences!

Professionally, I have a background in apparel design. This is where I found my enjoyment for discovering and improving the needs of customers (users). Creating designs from researching trends and listening to customer feedback, iterating on designs until we reached the optimal product and feeling the enjoyment of the product being used in the real world.

During my time in the apparel world I took on a number of projects designing and building websites using basic platforms such as Wix and Squarespace. This is when I become interested in the world of web design.

My curiosity lead me to complete a certificate in UX Design. But I still wanted to know more! I wanted to know how I could turn my designs into a functioning website through code, so I continued my learning and completed an intense 12 week Web Development bootcamp.

I love to keep busy through creating and problem solving. Whether it's in my everyday life, or work life, I always have a project on the go.

Outside of my working world I enjoy spending time with my pup Luna, knitting, exploring the outdoors and eating good food.
